WESTLAKE, Ohio— Cleveland Browns rookie offensive lineman Jedrick Wills was cited for drag racing Tuesday along with teammate Rashard Higgins, according to police.
Westlake police Capt. Gerald Vogel said both Wills, 21, and Higgins, 26, were cited in the same incident for first-degree misdemeanor drag racing. Multiple media outlets previously reported Tuesday that Higgins was cited.
A Westlake police incident report says a marijuana joint was found in one of the cars but does not specify whose car. An officer destroyed the joint at the scene, and recorded it on his body camera, the incident report says.
Neither Wills nor Higgins were charged with marijuana possession.
The incident happened about 9:30 a.m. on Crocker Road near Coventry Drive, according to the incident report, less than two days after the Browns clinched their first playoff appearance in 18 years with a 24-22 win over…
