DAYTONA BEACH — Collectible cars and the people who love them come together again this weekend for the 31st Annual Spring Daytona Turkey Run classic car show at Daytona International Speedway.
Crowds started to arrive early on Friday for opening day of the popular annual event, which runs daily through Sunday on the Speedway’s mammoth infield.
In addition to the display of more than 5,000 collectible vehicles, daily events include a massive swap meet as well as an array of vendors with art and fashion items tailored to the four-wheel crowd.
With a weekend forecast of sunny, postcard-worthy weather, big crowds are expected, said Jennifer Labonte, the event’s marketing director.
