MG returns to its roots later this month at the Shanghai Auto Show in China, where it will unveil the Cyberster, a 2-seat roadster that the company says was inspired by the classic MGB.
Inspired, perhaps, but this latest version has an electric powertrain that MG promises will offer a range of 800 kilometers (496 miles). In addition, the car will provide 5G connectivity while you travel.

“The Cyberster is a bold statement that looks strongly into MG’s future, touching on our heritage but more importantly building on our cutting edge technology and advanced design,” Carl Gotham, director of the SAIC advanced design studio in London, is quoted in the announcement. SAIC Motor, China’s largest automaker, owns the British brand MG.
“Sports cars are the lifeblood of the MG DNA and Cyberster is a hugely exciting concept for us.”
Among the car’s features are “Magic Eye”…
