When it comes to compact sedans, two models usually come to mind. These are the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla Altis. These two are usually neck and neck in their segment’s sales charts, leaving a lot of their competitors behind. One can even say that these two define the genre.
Because of that, many models get overlooked. Take the Kia Forte, for instance. Kia Philippines launched their compact sedan contender about two years ago, but it hasn’t exactly flown out of dealerships. It’s a bit of a shame since it’s a rather promising car with a reasonable starting price tag (PHP 1,095,000) within its class.
