CHATHAM, Va. — A Grace A LOT-sponsored car show fundraiser raised $1,028 on a Sunday, April 26 event.
The fundraiser supported Chatham’s Grace A LOT, a local nonprofit that runs a popular area clothes closet. The event was held at Marion Baptist Church.
“It was a beautiful day for a car show,” Pastor Hank Meadows of Marion Baptist Church said. “We are thrilled to raise over $1,000 for Grace A LOT. Grace A LOT volunteers need our ongoing support. COVID-19 has made fundraising challenging. Our car show today allowed people to be socially distant, support a great local cause, and enjoy the day.”
