BRIMFIELD — When many people hear the name of this town, they think of antiques.
Well, antiques on wheels rolled into the Brimfield Winery & Cidery for its first weekly Classic Cruisin’ Friday Nights of the season.
But there were more than oldies on the spacious grounds at 35 Main St. in Brimfield. Autos of all kinds were represented, including custom cars, hot rods, sports cars, muscle cars and more.
Guests walked among about 100 cars and trucks that showed up for the event, while the vehicle owners spoke proudly about their cherished rides.
“I built it about three years ago. It took about a year to build,” said Tim Grimes, of Palmer, as he stepped out of his 1923 Ford Modet T “Bucket.”
“We go everywhere with it; it’s fun,” he added.
