Volvo has committed to become a fully electric car company by 2030, therefore the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric will be a key model at CCIA, alongside a range of Volvo mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The free-to-attend event takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire on June 23 and 24.
Andy Dinham, campaign manager – business sales at Volvo Cars UK said: “The 2030 ambition represents an acceleration of Volvo Cars’ electrification strategy, driven by strong demand for its electrified cars in recent years.”
Volvo’s sister company Polestar will also be at CCIA, making its debut at the event with a fleet of Polestar 2 electric cars.
