Ninety vehicles of American origin were on display at the South Canterbury USA Classic Car Club’s annual show and run to mark Independence Day in the United States.
Organiser Neil Howie was pleased with the turnout, though he said it was slightly down on recent years.
Howie’s own 1972 Pontiac Firebird was among the throng, which saw car lovers from around the South Island bring their American machines out.
